Hi - a six pack was one of my main goals too - and I'm happy to say I have achieved it now to some extent, but still working to improve it.
The things you might need to consider are:
Exercising your stomach
Reducing your waistline
With regards to exercising your stomach, you will need to do this a minimum of 2 -3 times per week for about 15mins - 30mins per session. You can choose from a wide variety of exercises but it important to realise that different exercises will effect different muscles. For example a basic crunch will exercise the top abdominal muscles while leg raise will exercise the bottom muscles.
Secondly, if you want the 6 pack to be visable, you must reduce the waistline to a healthy level. You can do this by doing more cardio work and watching your diet.
The time line to achieving this varies on how hard you work on it. Assuming moderate exercise, a good diet and exercising the abs 3 times per week, you should see noticable results within 6 weeks. I hope this helps.
