I am going to lessons once every week at the moment (at the driving range), and really enjoying it. I am gradually getting better, but keen to try it out on a real course which I could imagine being a lot more enjoyable. Problem is that it is so cold and wet outside - so this is one for when it starts brightening up. I will definitely be a fair weather player!

I recently got a job in a company within a team of 5 people - all of whom are very keen on golf. This isn't really a problem, but I have just been through a very long interview process and was absolutely desperate to get the job, so I started exaggerating my skills on the golf course, making out I was a lot better than I am. I just assumed that they would never get to find out. Problem is they told me the other day that we have a work golf competition to play in next March, and I have to fill a space in the team. Er....
I need lessons quickly to get my game up to scratch. I plan to get a lesson weekly between now and then and spend a couple of hours every week on the driving range.

I work in a corporation where the major form of corporate entertainment is golf. On top of this, my friends all seem to play golf every weekend and I want to join in!
My goal is to learn to play golf to a respectable standard as soon as possible.
