How I did it

It has been a while since I finished Uni, over 4 years now, but I still often think about the great times I had.
It was good to get the degree, and it has helped me to get a good job, but the most important thing to me was the life experience I had when I was there. It was the first experience I had of living on my own - my first real taste of freedom. I made great friends that I know will last my lifetime, and have great memories that I will always cherish.
In short, I think it helps with getting a good job to have a good degree, but that said for most positions you can get there without a degree. However, for me the life experience gained at University really is worth the investment - they will be times you cherish all your life.

Tips & Advice If you are considering going, I would really recommend it. When you are there, work hard to get the degree which will set you up for life after Uni, however make time to just relax and have fun. Get involved in as many activities as possible.
