"Simple gesture, made me feel good"
How I did it
This was pretty simple for me - the bus I get on every morning is rammed and I am one of the first people on there, so I always get a seat and later on in the journey there is fierce competition!
Since starting this goal I have been on the look out for an old person / pregnant woman who needed the seat more than me. One day I saw an old lady standing, clearly struggling with her bags, and I was suprised how nobody gave up their seat for her - even some of the young men sitting around her. When I offered her my seat, she looked so grateful - it had clearly brightened up her journey, maybe even her day.
I am going to make this a way of life - always looking for small gestures I can make which will make life easier and more enjoyable for those around me. It will not only brighten their day, but also mine.

Give up my seat on a bus
I commute to work every day by bus, and every day the bus is so full that all the seats are full and people are standing. I am one of the first people to get on the bus every morning so I always have a seat.
I can see sometimes how happy it can make people when a seat is given up for them - I'm sure it is a gesture which can brighten up their day.
For this reason, I have set as my goal to give up my seat on the bus!
