Just spent some time in the gym, got a new job so starting a new routine - This is going to go well. Got a target of being in much better shape in 5 weeks so need to work hard

I went away for the weekend and ate far too much junk food! Been for a run today, got a way to go on this goal still.

I'm getting married later this year so want to be in good shape for that! Plan is a combination of Cycling, Running and Weight Training ... I will keep you posted

Need to stop drinking

I have joined a gym, and have been going 2 - 3 a weeks, and suprisingly liking it. Problem wtih me is I drink too much, and recently have been drinking more than usually - I would say I drink 4 nights a week, 3 of which I am pretty / very drunk. Not only is the drink bad for me and my health, when I am hungover I eat crap and exercise less!
I need to cut down on alcohol - this is my vital next step to getting in shape!

Personal trainer needed....

I took a big step forward with this goal when I joined a gym about 8 months ago - something I hadn't done for my entire life.
Since I joined, I have made a big push to go 3 times a week which I have done pretty well (sometimes more and sometimes less, but about 3 on average).
I am undoubtedly in better shape than I was when I started, but I am frustrated at the slow progress I seem to be making - I guess I just want things to move faster.
I think that perhaps I am not training right, or hard enough. I am going to hire a personal trainer who can run e through the techniques and can give me pointers on what I need to improve. I don't intend to keep this up, but I think if I get the pointers I can train much more effectively on my own.

A good start

First week into this goal and it is going well!

I joined a gym, and in the first 5 days I have been to yoga class 3 times and to spinning class twice! I can honestly say I feel fitter already, although I have not noticed much difference in the way I look quite yet.

I just need to keep this up in the next few weeks.

I want to be attractive

I am planning to do this by taking the following actions:

Eat my five portions of fruit and veg per day
Only eat red mat once a week
Drinking more water
Cutting down on junk food

I am not too hot physically, and would love to have muscles and 6 pack - basically to feel attractive. I will work on this goal until I achieve this, which I anticipate being in a year and a half.

I will formalise all of this in a plan which will start next week.

I commit to getting in shape

I have been unhappy with being out of shape for a while now, but have done nothing about it yet. I don't want to continue like this, so have made a firm goal as my commitment to get in shape.

My first step will be to join a gym, which I will have done by the end of next week.

It will be great to be feeling healthy, and to feel comfortable about my body.

I've been meaning to get in shape for a while now, and it is about time I started to do something about it!
I have set this goal to make sure I get off my backside and get in shape. I will go to the gym three times per week and ensure I get in shape.
