I love the idea that you are working towards love by removing your internal barriers. I have had similar thoughts, but find it quite difficult to identify what they are, or how to even start removing them. The film makes me cry every time!

Since I set this goal, I have met several great guys, but none of them have been 'the one' for me, I have not felt really special about any of them for some reason. I am happy to keep waiting as I am sure the right one will come. At least meeting these guys are a sign things are moving in the right direction.
From what I have been reading on here, love seems to come when the person is ready for it. I read a quote the other day which I really love:
"Your task is not to seek for love, but merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it." Rumi
This really resonated with me, and made me think that to find love, I really have to work on removing my internal barriers and block to love. I have been searching for books to help me do this, and one book in particular seems to be quite highly recommended - 'calling in the one'. I have ordered this on amazon, and it should be with me soon. I will keep you updated!

I have just set this goal now, and I have no idea how long it will take me, but I want to be totally and completely in love with someone.

I am really adventurous and I want someone who can share my adventures with me - I want to stay up all night talking about our dreams, our fantasies, our passions. I want to be completely happy with someone.

This is my number one goal.

In the meantime, I am just going to try and have fun, but I can't wait for you to come into my life. I won't be afraid.

My ultimate goal is to find and spend my life with someone I love.

This year, I am going to focus on knowing and loving myself so that when this person comes into my life I am ready to love him will all of me. This will also mean healing myself from my past relationship and getting over my fear of being hurt.

I want to fall in love, I want someone to love me for me.

I have never really been in love - sure I have had crushes on people, but I have never experienced a deep and loving relationship, and this is what I want more than anything else in the world.
I believe that I will fall in love one day, that I will get married and have a family, I am just not sure when, but I can't wait.
I will focus on having a good time and living my life until it finds me.

I was watching Meet Joe Black the other night, and there was one particular quote which really resonated with me about falling in love, I have included below.

"Love is passion, obsession, someone you can't live without. If you don't start with that, what are you going to end up with? Fall head over heels. I say find someone you can love like crazy and who'll love you the same way back. And how do you find him? Forget your head and listen to your heart. I'm not hearing any heart. Run the risk, if you get hurt, you'll come back. Because, the truth is there is no sense living your life without this. To make the journey and not fall deeply in love - well, you haven't lived a life at all. You have to try. Because if you haven't tried, you haven't lived."
